Nicole Froio is a Colombian-Brazilian journalist, researcher and writer. She has a BA in Journalism from the University of Sheffield, a Masters in Women, Violence and Conflict from the University of York and a doctorate in Philosophy, Media Studies and Women’s Studies also from the University of York. Nicole has worked as a researcher, journalist, copywriter, translator, editor and proofreader for nearly a decade. Publicly, she writes about pop culture, violence against women, inequality, Brazilian politics and news, digital cultures and books.
